James was admitted to practice in 2013 and joined the independent bar in 2021.
Prior to joining the Bar James practised at (what was then) Fisher Jeffries predominantly in dispute resolution and then at Botten Levinson in dispute resolution with a particular focus on planning, environment and local government disputes.
James has particular experience in administrative law and judicial review, environment and planning, wills and deceased estates, building and construction disputes along with general commercial litigation.
James brings a practical and commercial outlook in resolving disputes.
