Todd was admitted to practice in 2002.  Prior to joining the independent bar in 2026, Todd was the Crown Advocate for South Australia for the preceding 8 years and head of the Crown Counsel Section of the Crown Solicitor’s Office.  Todd was appointed Senior Counsel in 2020.  Since admission to practice Todd has been involved in a broad scope of litigation subject matter and practice ranging from personal injury to commercial to public law matters and has substantial experience in most state and federal courts and tribunals.  This includes at trial, on appeal and in alternative dispute resolution settings.  Todd has practiced exclusively as counsel since 2011 upon the foundation of the Crown Counsel Section.  Todd also undertakes written opinion work including in novel and procedurally and legally complex matters.
