Jarrad was admitted to practice in 2017. He joined the independent bar at Howard Zelling Chambers in 2026.
Before joining the bar, Jarrad was internal Counsel at a well-known Adelaide law firm. He had a focus on general commercial litigation, regulatory and disciplinary proceedings, and summary criminal matters as well as family law.
Jarrad also practised at a multinational firm in Melbourne acting for insurers in general insurance and professional liability claims.
Jarrad regularly appears in all Courts (including appellate proceedings) and Tribunals in South Australia.
Jarrad is also a regular sessional teacher at the University of Adelaide (now Adelaide University) in dispute resolution and ethics, equity, evidence and contract law.
In 2024, Jarrad graduated from his Master of Laws at The University of Melbourne.
